Hard Plaster Render Repair

Job brief: Render repair work in a heritage building by preserving as much of the original render as possible and applying materials and technology compatible with the historic building fabric.

To match the existing soft flexible lime render, we used various graded sands and a mix of natural hydraulic lime (NHL2) and hydrated lime as a binder. Following traditions, two coats of lime render were completed with a final hard plaster coat.
