We collaborated with the experienced builder Michael Palmer and his team from Andermer for this thoughtful renovation of a charming Fitzroy residence. We focused on enhancing its backside to create a harmonious blend of traditional appeal and modern functionality. Key elements: 

  • Balcony Upgrade: The balcony with a spacious timber structure and decking was replaced, significantly expanding the outdoor living area.
  • Innovative Partition Solution: Installed new timber cladding with an integrated bench, optimizing space and introducing a warm, contemporary aesthetic.
  • Elegant French Doors: New French doors and an improved waterproofing system were added on the first floor.
  • Facade Rejuvenation: Re-rendered the facade with hydraulic lime render and painted with mineral paint, achieving a Mediterranean-inspired look and ensuring the building’s long-term health and structural integrity.
